About me? Well let’s see, not a lot to tell really.

I'm a 34 year old straight male. I live in the Oklahoma City Metro area and I own a medical supply business in Oklahoma City. I am a big guy at just a little over 6' tall and 250+ lbs. I have long blonde hair, blue eyes, long beard, a few tattoos and one piercing. I look a little rough around the edges but I'm really a pretty nice guy, easy going and always laughing and having fun. I have a good sense of humor although sometimes it is a little bit twisted or obscure - but hey I have fun with it. I don't guess I have ever met a stranger and will talk with anyone. I usually have to be the one to start the conversations but most people warm up to me pretty quick just because I am an honest and sincere person, people can sense that. I’m very down to earth and although I have had a little success now I am still pretty much the same person that I always was. Definitely a T-shirt & jeans type of guy LOL.

My parents were from Oklahoma originally but I grew up in Arkansas right near the Missouri state line. I went into the Army right out of high school (Oak Ridge Central High School) in 1988. I graduated with honors and a salutatorian. I was a 98C MOS in the Army (Electronic Warfare Signal Intercept Analyst) which is just a fancy way of saying I decoded messages that were intercepted from the enemy. When I got out of the Army my folks had moved back to Oklahoma City so that is where I came home to. I have lived in and around OKC since 1989.

I met and married my best friend in OKC. We were married for 11 years but things just sort of drifted over the years and we separated about a year ago and getting ready to do the divorce thing I guess. I have 2 sons 13 & 16 that visit me every weekend. I also have a daughter that is out on her own. She just made me a grandpa :( at the ripe old age of 34. I am starting to date again finally, but it has taken me a while to warm up to the ideal.

I have a lot of hobbies and things I like. I like motorcycles, fast cars, music, any thing outdoors such as camping, fishing and hunting, flea markets, boating. I am a big Harley fanatic and spend a large percentage of my free time riding mine or at the local biker bar. I'm not much of a dancer LOL but I like listening to live music. I have a definite bend toward the modern music like hip-hop, light rap, alternative and some techno. But I also listen to a lot of classic rock, older heavy metal, 80's hair bands, and R&B About the only music I don’t care for is the real hard rap and the real slow country music. Kid Rock is my favorite artist at the moment but that is subject to frequent changes LOL. It was Eminem before that, Acid Bath before him...so you never know what I will be listening to.
**Update** Nickleback's song "Figured you out" is the song of the month, maybe of the summer.  Have you heard it?  Its the one that starts out "I like your pants around your feet, I like the dirt that's on your knees, I like the way you still say please while you are looking up at me"  Not really sure why I like this song so much? LOL

Before I started my own business I was a mechanic / welder / electronics tech / construction....basically anything I can do with my hands I am pretty good at. So how does a hands on type guy end up running a Medical Supply business? I spent several years starting one business venture after the other and never quite following through with them because none had the income potential that I was looking for. The first few ventures were in areas that I was familiar with such as auto repair shop, paint & body, glass etching, motorcycle shop...things of that nature. But any sort of service business is limited by how many hours you are willing to put in. I decided that I needed something in the Sales arena so I could leverage my time and have a larger income potential.

One of my earlier business start-ups was website design so I decided that if I could build a website for others to make money on I could do the same for myself. I sort of went into my business plan backwards. I found my customers first and then figured out what I wanted to sell. I spent about a year doing research on my business plan and finally decided that I wanted to sell to the 65 & older age group because all the demographics say that this is the fasted growing population segment in the USA and will be for the next 15 years. This is because people are living longer for one, and all the baby boomers born after WW2 are entering into the golden years now. This creates a growth market that allows new competition to get a foothold rather than having to try and take customers away from existing businesses. A growth market. So then it was a matter of deciding what I wanted to sell to them and medical supplies seemed logical because it is a necessity rather than a luxury. I wanted something that didn’t fluxuate with the economy very much. I guess all the research & planning paid off because the business in its 3rd year of steady growth now. I spent a lot of time finding good vendors that would sell to me at a reasonable cost and I sell at discount prices and deal in volume rather than trying to rip people off. This is important to me because I have to like the person that I see in the mirror every morning.

Thats about all I can come up with, any questions contact me!
